About the Awards
Since 2016, the EdTech Asia Awards have recognized and showcased organizations advancing education, workforce development, and human capability across Asia and the Middle East. Presented annually alongside the EdTech Asia Summit, the Awards celebrate initiatives that demonstrate innovation, measurable outcomes, and meaningful contributions to learners, institutions, workplaces, and society.
The 2026 Awards will be presented during the EdTech Asia Summit in Tokyo on October 22-23, 2026 and include four categories:AI Future Intelligence Award
Recognizing organizations developing or applying artificial intelligence (AI) to create new capabilities, intelligent systems, and innovative approaches with the potential to shape the future of learning and work. This category acknowledges pioneering AI technologies, next-generation platforms, and emerging solutions that demonstrate originality, scalability, and long-term significance.
Suitable for AI-driven platforms, technology developers, research initiatives, and organizations advancing new forms of intelligence, automation, personalization, or human-AI collaboration.Human Capability Award
Celebrating organizations strengthening human potential through knowledge, skills, leadership, adaptability, creativity, and lifelong learning. This category recognizes initiatives that help individuals, teams, and communities become more capable, resilient, and prepared for a rapidly changing world.
Suitable for online and offline education providers, workforce development providers, learning organizations, credentialing and signaling initiatives, and programs focused on capability building and human development.Access & Impact Award
Recognizing organizations expanding access, inclusion, and opportunity while demonstrating clear and measurable outcomes. This category acknowledges initiatives delivering meaningful social, educational, or workforce impact, particularly for underserved populations, institutions, or communities.
Suitable for organizations focused on impact including, equity, affordability, inclusion, scale, and evidence-based outcomes across education and workforce ecosystems.AI Workforce Transformation Award
Honouring organizations using artificial intelligence to improve productivity, redesign work, enhance decision-making, and strengthen workforce capability and readiness. This category recognizes practical applications of AI that are transforming how organizations operate and how people work.
Suitable for enterprises, workforce solutions providers, employment pathways and talent organizations, and institutions implementing AI to drive operational and workforce transformation.Key Dates

Application Process
1. Complete the online application form below.
2. Applications undergo an initial review and scoring process.
3. Shortlisted submissions are reviewed by the EdTech Asia Awards committee.
4. Finalists are notified in September 2026.
5. Award recipients are formally recognized during the EdTech Asia Summit 2026.
The EdTech Asia Awards are honorary recognition awards. Participation is open to organizations of all sizes operating across technology, education, workforce development, human capability, and related sectors.

Can individuals apply?
No. Applications are intended for companies, organizations, institutions, and initiatives.
Who is eligible to apply?
Companies of all sizes may apply, including social enterprises, educational institutions, nonprofits, and established companies.
Can organizations outside Asia apply?
Yes. Organizations may be based anywhere globally, provided their work serves or demonstrates impact across Asia and/or the Middle East.
Can organizations apply to more than one category?
Yes. Applicants may apply to multiple categories, although they are encouraged to select the category most closely aligned with their work.
Is there an application fee?
No. Applications are free of charge. Recognition cannot be purchased, and all submissions are evaluated solely on merit.
How are applications evaluated?
Applications are reviewed against category-specific criteria. Shortlisted submissions are evaluated by an independent expert judging panel, with finalists and recipients selected based on innovation, evidence, impact, and relevance.
Do applicants need to attend the summit?
No. Attendance is not required for consideration, although finalists and recipients are encouraged to participate in the EdTech Asia Summit 2026 in Tokyo.
What do recipients receive?
Award recipients are recognized during the EdTech Asia Summit 2026 in Tokyo, receive visibility across EdTech Asia channels, may reference their recognition publicly, and receive two complimentary summit delegate passes.

Terms and Conditions

1. EligibilityThe Awards are open to organizations, institutions, enterprises, startups, non-profit organizations, and other entities whose work contributes to education, workforce development, human capability, skills, and related sectors. Applications may be submitted by the organization itself or by an authorized representative.2. No Application FeeThere is no fee to submit an application to the EdTech Asia Awards.3. Accuracy of InformationApplicants confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge. EdTech Group Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to request additional information or clarification and may disqualify submissions containing materially false, misleading, or incomplete information.4. Evaluation and SelectionApplications will undergo an internal review and evaluation process. Selection of finalists and award recipients is at the sole discretion of EdTech Group Pte. Ltd. All decisions are final and no correspondence regarding evaluation outcomes will be entered into.5. No Guarantee of SelectionSubmission of an application does not guarantee selection as a finalist or award recipient. EdTech Group Pte. Ltd. reserves the right not to present an award in any category if submissions do not meet the standards or criteria established for the Awards.6. Recognition OnlyThe EdTech Asia Awards are honorary recognition awards. No cash prize, grant funding, investment, endorsement, or commercial opportunity is provided or implied through participation or selection.7. Intellectual PropertyApplicants retain ownership of their intellectual property, trademarks, and proprietary materials. By submitting an application, applicants grant EdTech Group Pte. Ltd. a non-exclusive right to use the organization's name, logo, publicly available information, and approved materials for purposes related to the Awards, including announcements, websites, reports, event presentations, and social media communications.8. Public AnnouncementsFinalists and award recipients may be publicly announced through EdTech Asia communication channels and during the EdTech Asia Summit 2026. Selected organizations agree to cooperate with reasonable requests for logos, descriptions, and supporting materials for recognition purposes.9. ConfidentialityInformation submitted through the application process will be used solely for evaluation, administration, and communication relating to the Awards. Applicants are advised not to submit confidential, proprietary, or commercially sensitive information that they do not wish to disclose.10. Travel and Participation CostsFinalists and award recipients invited to participate in the EdTech Asia Summit 2026 are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, visa expenses, and all other costs associated with attending the event.11. Modification or CancellationEdTech Group Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to amend the Awards programme, modify categories, extend deadlines, or cancel the Awards at any time if circumstances reasonably require.12. Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EdTech Group Pte. Ltd., its affiliates, partners, employees, and representatives shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from participation in the Awards or from any decision relating to the evaluation or selection process.13. Right to Withdraw RecognitionEdTech Group Pte. Ltd. reserves the right to revoke finalist status or an award if information subsequently becomes available indicating fraud, material misrepresentation, unlawful conduct, or actions that may reasonably be considered inconsistent with the integrity and reputation of the Awards.14. Governing LawThese Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising in connection with the Awards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.15. The EdTech Asia Awards are organized by EdTech Group Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information to third parties.Public Recognition
Organizations selected as finalists or recipients may be publicly recognized by the Awards. In such cases, EdTech Group Pte. Ltd. may reference the organization's name, logo, website, and other non-confidential information contained within the application for awards-related communications and promotional purposes.
International Transfers
As applicants, judges, and advisors may be located in different countries, information submitted may be processed or accessed internationally. Reasonable safeguards are implemented to protect personal information regardless of location.
Data Retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the Awards, maintain historical records, comply with legal obligations, and support future Awards activities.
Individuals may request the correction or deletion of personal information where permitted by applicable law.Security
EdTech Group Pte. Ltd. takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or loss. While every effort is made to protect information, no method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
